For years I was a stay-at-home mom of four before I picked up ten cats, a scruffy dog, and began rescuing chinchillas along the way and somehow managed to keep them all alive, at least so far. I call our home "Orphan Acres!"

I have been an extreme couponer, a promotional enthusiast off and on for over 30 years and I'm proud of my "Frugal Chick" status. I have been a homeschool mom, an ambulance dispatch volunteer and have accumulated various other skills throughout my years.

I'm now a blogger, a motorcycle-riding grandma who loves to travel. When I'm not cleaning up after rescued animals or helping family and friends, I'm usually traveling somewhere with my husband on our motorcycles or creating a new adventure with my vacation-loving niece Melissa.
